It depends on the weather condition on the place your going.
Warm/Hot weather:
Clothes-Light sweaters, shorts, bathing suit, flip flops, sneakers, tanks, tees, and a hoodie-just in case! Socks, undergarments..etc.
Swim-bring a bathing suit, flip flops, sun glasses, hat, towel, etc.
Shoes-flip flops, sneakers.
Electronics-iPod-definatly!!
Food/drink-Crackers/cookies for the trip, a sandwhich, water bottle for sure! and a juice box (yeh its kiddish but who cares)
cosmetics-light makeup, lip gloss, mascara, -all you’ll need.
Accessories-sun glasses, hat, watch.
other. -Magazines come in handy on a loooong road trip. Sun block and chapstick too!
Hope this helps
i dont see why your worring about this in october…
ITS OCTOBER!!
Thats 8 months away lol !
Don’t forget the toilet paper and any meds you may take, bottled water, and first aid kit.
Well, it depends on the camp and the expected weather but in general:
Clothes:
-Two pairs of jeans (or 1 pair of jeans and 1 other pant)
-A pair of shorts
-Several simple t-shirts/tank tops
-Plenty of socks
-1 or 2 sweaters or sweatshirts (for nights at campfires or cold days, etc.)
-A light, rainproof jacket
-A hat
Swim:
-Two swimsuits
Shoes:
-A pair of flipflops for the shower and pool
-A pair of sneakers/hiking boots
Electronics:
Don’t bring anything too valuable. You probably won’t need much electronics aside from a flashlight, anyway.
Food/drink:
The camp should supply food and drinks. If you want some snacks, maybe bring crackers or something that won’t turn bad.
Cosmetics:
Keep it simple.
-Lip balm
-Concealor (if you need it)
-Tinted SPF moisturizer
Accessories:
-Sunscreen
-Books, or something to do if you ever have downtime.
Clothes – comfortable, loose fitting clothes that can be layered if it gets chilly at night. Shoes that are easy to slip on and off for those midnight potty trips out of the tent, a pull-on knit cap or something to keep your ears warm and your hair down, gloves are always a good idea. If your campsite has showers, you’ll want a towel. If not, you’ll want baby wipes or something similar to wipe down with after day one.
Swim – regular swimsuit but aqua shoes of some sort to keep from getting cut on broken bottles or sharp rocks. Definitely a couple of large towels and a wrap.
Shoes – ankle high leather boots for hiking and protection against snakes and the like. Plenty of thick dry socks. Some easy slip-on shoes as mentioned above.
Electronics – GPS, radio or at least a weather band radio. Two-way hand held radios or hand-held CB radios are nice. iPod or similar if you’ve got to have your tunes.
Food/drink – It’s important to stay hydrated. Bring a carbouy of water (5 gallons) if possible. If not, bring three gallons of water for a weekend camping trip. You’ll use it for everything from oatmeal to brushing your teeth. Bring one cooler with lots of ice it in. Eggs, chicken and the like can be stored on ice for a long time. If you have a dutch oven you can set it in the coals and bake a chicken in no time. Potatoes and high carb foods are good but so is protein. Fruit is good to bring and the peels and scraps can go right in the fire. Don’t forget salt, pepper, even garlic and other spices to dress up any dish you prepare. Stay away from junk food. It might seem like a good idea on a camping trip but you’ll feel like garbage after a day of eating junk food and being exposed to the elements. Beer, wine, etc. are fun to have around the campfire if you’re so inclined. And don’t forget coffee for the morning! Mixing a bag of powdered hot cocoa mix to your morning cup of java creates a good pick-me-up.
Cosmetics – Nope. But insect repellant is a good idea and so is Blistex. Perfumy lotions and sprays will make you a target for bugs.
Accessories – You can find camping lists on Internet and you should probably search for one. A complete list of necessary accessories is important. They include such things as a flashlight, extra batteries, first aid kit, knife, eating utensils, bags for garbage, folding chairs, matches/lighter, kindling or newspaper, dishsoap and sponge, tarps, lanterns, a cook stove, propane, aspirin/advil, etc.
And yes, I do a lot of camping.
Have fun!
